It's been a while since I've written anything. Obviously we have a new president-in-waiting. The pre-election anxiety is over and it's time to let past animosities fade away.

At Freedom School, the process of teaching English to Ukrainian children in Europe's eastern frontier is unfolding beautifully.

With the money raised from our recent event at Cafe Roka, the children at Gnizdechao orphanage are being educated, entertained and are receiving love from our teaching staff. At the same time, we are providing much needed financial support to our Ukrainian staff.

The list of people I need thank is almost endless. Will Sherman, Sharon Setter, Oko, Tony, Rod Kass, Jim Burke, Judge and Seth are a few names that immediately spring to mind. Rachael, Max and Nick are just a few more.

I truly appreciate the 70 or so people who came to the fundraiser and helped make it such a fun evening. Especially those who have given energy and/or financial support to the cause of freedom through education.
