Benjamin Hoerber

Director of Education in Ukraine

Benjamin moved to Ukraine one year after the full scale invasion to do volunteer work. With over 8 years of experience in the education field, he has a strong conviction in the power of education. Ben possesses a strong passion for doing what is right in the world and a great deal of practical experience turning abstract goals into tangible results.

Sharon Stetter

Board Member

​Sharon Stetter is an arts administrator and advocate for over forty years with a background in event planning and fundraising. She also has conducted and facilitated integral health retreats with plans to expand into humanities camps for kids.

Treasurer & Board Member

Nicholas is an American transplant from North Yorkshire, England. He’s a professional writer, coffee entrepreneur, international musician, and father. He lives in Bisbee, AZ with his 10 year old daughter and is an avid rock climber.

Lisa is a North Carolinian now residing in Bisbee, AZ. She has a background in nonprofit leadership, live entertainment, and hospitality. A mother, poet, and creative strategist with a passion for music, equity, and meaningful connection.

Tony Watkins

Education Coordinator & Board Member

Tony is an acupuncturist, an international English teacher and resident of New York City. He has long held an interest in teaching English and sees the importance of this project in connecting our world.

Jack has spent the last 40 years working in emergency departments, including five years at the VA, where he witnessed the impact of war on soldiers. Drawing on that experience, he’s committed to creating a better future for children everywhere. He understands that promoting a common language—while preserving cultural values—is essential to that mission.
