Tony Watkins

Education Coordinator & Board Member

Tony is an acupuncturist, an international English teacher and resident of New York City. He has long held an interest in teaching English and sees the importance of this project in connecting our world.

Dennis

English Teacher

 

Dennis has been with Ukraine Freedom School since its very beginning. An English teacher and graduate student, he has led group classes and individually tutored students at the Gnizdechko orphanage. He brings a rare combination of physical fitness and artistic passion into the classroom.

Jay Schnell

Operations Coordinator​

Jay is a journalist, multilinguist, and English teacher for students of all ages. Though Canadian-born, Jay has lived in Ukraine continuously since before the start of the full-scale invasion in February 2022, and now coordinates the day-to-day operations of UFS.

Jack Rosoff

Founder & President of the Board

Jack has spent the last 40 years working in emergency departments, including five years at the VA, where he witnessed the impact of war on soldiers. Drawing on that experience, he’s committed to creating a better future for children everywhere.

Kate

Dance Instructor

Kate is a professional dance instructor who brings high energy and performance skill to the children of Breskul School, turning movement into another way for students to express themselves and grow.

Eugenia

Eugenia

Educator, Board Member

 

Eugenia founded Breskul School for neurodivergent children. As the mother of three daughters — including two adopted daughters with special educational needs — she brings deeply personal insight to the school's mission of building an inclusive, supportive learning environment.

Primary Education

 

With more than 20 years of experience in primary education, Victoria brings an organized, disciplined approach that has become a mainstay of the Breskul program.
